4 Days Sahara Desert Tours from Marrakech to Fes Option 1:

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Telouet – Tamdakht  184km

Departure from Marrakech in the morning, crossing the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka (2260 m), pause at several stunning panoramas for selfies. When you reach the summit, continue your descent towards the Kasbah of Telouet, a palatial former residence of the glorious Glaoui rulers.  Many films made there, the Kasbah is also a well-known place in Morocco. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou’s Ksar. and then, Drive along the valley of Ounila, seeing old salt mines and spectacular rivers loaded with many villages of Berber.

Day2: Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Roses Valley – Dades Valley  194km

After breakfast we will leave to visit Taourirt Kasbah. Then, we will drive through the 1,000 Kasbahs road. On the way we visit the beautiful Kasbah Amridil in Skoura’s palm grove. After that, departures will be via Boumalne to the Valley of the Roses and the Gorges of Dades. Dinner and night at the Dades Gorges hotel.

Day 3: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Amellagou (Spring &Summer) – Erfoud – Merzouga 271km

After a good night’s rest, you’ll have breakfast at the hotel and grab a cup of tea or coffee on the terrace and get some more cool air from the gorgeous valley, before getting on the road again and going to the second gorges on our way: Todra gorges, you’ll have free walking time to completely discover and admire these stunning edgy mountains and Todra’s vibrant green valley.

After Todra, we start our way south through many small villages with a lunch break at one of the restaurants that your driver recommends before continuing to the dunes of Merzouga with a few picture breaks, and then arriving at the edge of the dune, the camels are prepared for us, you’re going to ride in the dunes with the caravan while the baggage is being transported to the camp in an SUV.

Once you’re in the center of the dunes, you should take your time to observe the sahara’s deceptive sunset, take pictures, share a laugh and refresh your mind. The camel caravan will travel to the camp after the sunset, where you will be treated to mint tea, and shown to your rooms so that you can relax, freshen up your luggage while dinner is being made.

After a wonderful meal (vegetarian food can be accommodated), fire will be provided and musical plays with the staff will encourage you to experience a pleasant desert environment full of happiness and sincerity, on bright days you can see the milky way and count the stars and constellations in the night sky. Tents are equipped with soft beds and warm blankets so that after a great day full of magical moments you can relax in peace.

Day 4: Merzouga – Errachidia – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifran – Fes  467km

Wake up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the sand dunes. Pack up the camels and drive back to the hotel’s duneline, where you’ll have a shower and breakfast Travel to Fez to Errachidia, Midelt, through the Ziz River. Stop in Midelt for lunch before moving to Azrou to see macaque barbarians and cedar forest then we will proceed through ifrane to Fez. And then, we will continue through ifrane to Fez. Day 1: Marrakech – Ait benhadou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades gorge  334km

Departure from Marrakech in the morning across the mountains of the High Atlas through the Tizi n’Tichka (2260 m) to enter the village of Ait benhaddou, the protected ksar with its stunning Kasbahs. For many film producers, Ait Benhaddou has worked as a natural scenery. After lunch we travel to Dades via Ouarzazate, Skoura Palm Grove and Roses Valley, where we spend the first night.

Day 2: Dades – Todra gorge – Risani – Merzouga  271km

After breakfast, we will leave to explore the Dades Gorges, taking the path of 1000 kasbahs around the vibrant Berber villages of the Dades Valley.It’s a lovely palm grove to get to Tineghir. We’re going to continue to Todgha Gorge, where we’re heading on a 300 m high canyon journey, a favorite place for mountain climbers. We’ll then head to the Erg chebbi dunes in the desert of Merzouga Sahara and you’ll have time on our way for lunch. Overnight in a quiet environment in the foothills of the dunes of Erg chebbi sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga sightseeing tour and Camel ride

Today we’re going to visit the desert region and see the beauty of the desert dunes of Erg Chebbi. We’ll make a desert dune circuit where you’ll have the chance to explore the way of life of the nomad and the great changing desert contrasts. We’re going to visit Khamlia village to see musicians of Gnawa. In the ancient city of Rissani, we’ll have a popular Berber pizza for lunch. We’ll ride the camels in the afternoon to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the camp in the desert. We’re going to have a typical tagine meal, sip tasty mint tea, listen to traditional berber music while enjoying the stars and the rising moon in the beautiful Sahara desert.

Day 4: Merzouga – Errachida – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes  467km

Wake up early and watch the delightful sunrise and climb the sand dunes. Pack up the camels and head back to the hotel’s duneline where you’ll have a shower and breakfast Drive to Fez in Errachidia, Midelt, via the Ziz Valley.
