6 DAYS -Cultural Tour FROM CASABLANCA

Day 1: Casablanca / Rabat / Meknes –/Fes

We will pick you up from the Casablanca airport or your accommodation. First, we drive past Rabat to Fes where we will have the ooportunity to visit the mosque Hassan II. We will also visit Volubilis ruins. Next, we will be able to visit the most famous monuments and sights in Meknes. The overnight at a riad in Fes.

Day 2 – Exploring Fes

We’ll visit Fes medina and new town on the 2nd day of this ideal private tour. You can visit many fascinating places in the old Medina. Fes used to serve Morocco’s capital city more than 300 years ago. In Fes, we can also find Al Karaouine University (the oldest university in the world). We are also going to visit the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. The tanneries, the fascinating Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter or “Mellah’’. Our private tour of Morocco in Fes also involves a ceramic factory visit. In the afternoon, you’ll have a free time to relax or explore Fes medina on your own. We stay at the local hotel for overnight stays and dinner.

Day 3: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Rissani – Merzouga desert

The third day Morocco begins with driving towards Merzouga traveling through the fascinating and beautiful Ifrane (Morocco’s Switzerland). We will pause in the middle Atlas Mountains near the cedar forest where you will be able to watch monkeys in this large woodland. The journey continues until we stop in Midelt city, which is famous for its minerals and cool weather during summer, for having lunch before resuming the tour with driving along the wonderful Ziz Valley. Then, we’re going to visit Erfoud, where the amazing fossils workshops, and the local souk in Rissani and get Berber pizza. Ultimately, we arrive in the desert of Merzouga and we stay in the desert hotel at night.

Day 4:  Merzouga Desert 4×4 tour and a camel trek

This day will be devoted explore the Sahara Desert after having a nice breakfast. We will head to visit the golden sand, desert oases, palm groves and the village of Khamlia, which is popular for its unique music – the music of Gnaoua. We’re going to visit a nomad family in their tent and spend a short period of time with them. Then, we’ll be riding camels into the desert of Erg Chebbi where we will camp. Here, you will have dinner around the campfire and listento Berber songs and drums. It will be, absolutely, an incredible experience to remember for lifetime.

Day 5 :Merzouga desert – Todra Gorges – Dades valley

We’ll be watching the sunrise over the high dunes of Erg Chebbi desert in the morning. Then, we will ride camels going back to our Merzouga hotel. We continue our private Morocco tour to Rissani and Erfoud after breakfast and taking a refreshing shower. In Erfoud, we can visit fossil marble shops before we drive through Tinjdad, Tinghir, and the Todra Gorge which is our next destination; It’s the climbers ‘ paradise, you’ll have enough time to explore and discover it on your own. In the afternoon, we make our way to the Dades Valley where you will have dinner and overnight at a local hotel/riad.

Day6:  Dades valley / Ouarzazate / Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou / Marrakech

On the last day of this amazing private tour in Morocco tour, we’ll be heading towards Marrakech visiting Ouarzazatte. Here, we will have the opportunity to enjoy visiting film studios along with the local kasbah. We proceed with our today’s journey to Ait Ben Haddou to visit its popular village and kasbah; many well-known Hollywood movies were shot in this captivating site. Afterwards, we continue to drive via the High Atlas Mountains and Pass Tizi n Tichka. Finally, we’ll drop you off at your accommodation or airport after reaching Marrakech.
