10 DAY DESERT TOUR FROM CASABLANCA

Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech

We’re going to pick you up from the airport today and move you to Marrakech. Due to its pink painted houses and buildings, it is known as the “Red City.” We’re going to visit the medina souks, including the popular square named Djemâa El-Fna. Regional dancers, snake charmers, and singers will thrill you. Later, we’re going to spend the night at Medina’s local hotel.

Day 2: Marrakech tour and free program

Our private Morocco tour continues today with a deeper exploration of Marrakech. In the morning we will visit important parts of Medina as the Koutoubia Minaret, then we will visit the Saadines Tomb, also the Bahia Palace, and stunning Menara Gardens in the new part of the city called Gueliz. Most new restaurants and coffees can be found here. In the old part and also in the new part of Marrakech, you will have enough time to explore this beautiful city on your own. Then, we’ll stay the overnight in medina at the local riad.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate  

You will go out to the High Atlas Mountains after breakfast today. Then, you’ll be visiting Telouet Kasbah. You will get the chance to visit the locals and the fantastic places they live in, and enjoy lunch in a restaurant on the mountainside. After that, we will go to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou through many small villages and the Telout River. Later In Ouarzazate, we’ll spend this night.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges

Our private tour of Morocco leads us to Dades Gorges, Tinghir and the Gorges of Toudra, where we walk in the Gorges. We should visit the wonderful oasis in Skoura as well as kasbah Amerhidil. We’re passing through Kelaâ M’Gouna, and we’re going to have lunch in Roses Valley. Ultimately, we’re going to stay overnight at a local hotel in Dades Gorges.

Day 5: Todra Gorges – Merzouga desert

We are going to visit the Todra gorges today. We then begin our private tour of Morocco for lunch to Erfoud and Rissani. After that, we will move to the desert of Merzouga where you can camel trek in the spectacular dunes of Erg Chebbi. Finally, we’re going to spend the night in a desert bivouac (tent) and enjoy our Moroccan traditional dinner.

Day 6: Merzouga desert – Midelt

We’ll see sunrise over the desert dunes in the morning.  Thereafter, we’ll ride camels back to Merzouga’s hotel for taking breakfast and shower. We continue our trip to Midelt which is known for its minerals. Ultimately, we stay in the local hotel overnight.

Day 7: Midelt – Fes

We’re travelling through the Middle Atlas Mountains reaching Fes after taking breakfast. We’re going to pass by Azrou city, the nearest cedar trees forest invaded by monkeys. You will visit the Dar el Batha and Tanneries Museum after we reach Fes. We’re staying overnight at the local hotel or riad.

Day 8: Fes tour and free program

We’ll visit Fes medina and also the city’s new part on the second day of our private Morocco trip. You can visit many fascinating places in the old Medina, for instance, the museums. Fes has been Morocco’s capital city for over 300 years. In Fes, we can also find Al Karaouine University, which is the world’s oldest university. We are also going to visit the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. The brilliant Tanneries, the astonishing Royal Palace, the Jewish quarter “Mellah’’ and its amazing synagogue are an interesting sites to visit in this medieval city. Our private tour of Morocco in Fes also involves a ceramic factory visit. Then, you’ll have a free program later in the afternoon to explore Fes medina on your own. We stay at the local hotel for overnight stays and dinner.

Day 9: Fes – Casablanca

We’re heading to Casablanca today. The city was founded in 1912; it is the most significant economic city in Morocco. In this outstanding city, we will visit the mosque of Hassan II. We stay overnight at the local hotel for dinner.

Day 10: Casablanca airport

Today we’re ending our private tour of Morocco and we’re taking you to the airport.
